Getting a UAE driving license will be much easier and cheaper for thousands of Indian jobseekers now
UAE driving classes will be made available in centres across India. Those completing the classes will be issued a certificate. When they arrive in the UAE, this will qualify them to go for a “tailor-made” course before taking tests and secure a license easily. Now, learners will be better prepared with reduced tension and more confidence for RTA Driving tests. Of course, it will save both time and money
UAE Driving Institutes
The UAE driving classes will be available under a new agreement between India’s National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the Emirates Driving Institute (EDI). Driver Training Institutes (DTI) that comply with the regulations in the UAE will be established in various Indian cities. These driving schools will deliver the mandatory training with the support of Emirates Driving Institute. At present, 10 to 15 driving institutes from Kerala, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and other “migration pockets” will impart the training. Perhaps, to start off, a couple of existing driving institutes that can offer left-hand driving skills will be upgraded. Later, the DTI model will be extended to other GCC countries like Saudi Arabia
