Al Maktoum Bridge, a vital link between Deira and Bur Dubai, has fully reopened after months of maintenance that began in October 2024. Previously closed between 11pm and 5am Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday, the bridge is now open all week with minimal closures for maintenance on Sundays and Thursdays from 1am to 4:30am. First opened in 1963, the bridge underwent essential upgrades to meet RTA standards, easing travel for commuters and ensuring smoother routes between key landmarks like Dubai Frame and the Gold Souq.
