The Island, Dubai Area Guide

The World Islands is a small artificial islands constructed in the shape of a world map, located in the waters of the Persian Gulf, off the coast of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Island is the first development to open it’s doors to the public. The island is made up of two beaches, along with a swimming pool, onsite Beach Volleyball court and Dubai’s hottest dining. For any occasions from receptions, fashion shows, private events, and concerts, to corporate meetings, team building seminars, and award ceremonies.

Features of The Island:

• Two beach fronts with 360 degree views of Dubai’s skyline on South side.
• Pool is located between Toro Blanco restaurant and South side beach. Pool become the location for dinner or private birthday celebration in the evening.
• Indoor and outdoor facilities are available to host events up to 500 guests.
• Toro Blanco has fully air conditioned fantastic restaurant in Mediterranean and Tapas cuisine with variety of shisha flavours.
• Children’s menu also available during the day Sunday to Thursday.

Day Access

• Opening hours: Daily from 10:00AM – 6:00PM
• Island access and boat transportation charges :
  For Adult: 300 AED
  For Child: 150 AED (Complimentary entrance for children below 5 years old. Outside food and beverages are not allowed)

Events

• Entry fee: Daytime use includes transportation to Island and back, use of swimming pool/beaches AED 300 per person and AED 150 per child 5 yrs and above.
• Full range of alcoholic and other beverages are available at the Island.

General Instructions

• Body temperature of above 38c individuals are not allowed to board the vessel.
• Masks and gloves are mandatory for all individuals onboard including crew.
• In order to achieve social distance, Vessel capacity shall not exceed 50%.
• Cashless payment methods are encouraged.
• No Indoor shower facilities and linens.
• Guests to bring their own belongings (towels, linens etc).
• 2m clear distance between people and 4m clear distance between two groups of people.
• Not more than 6 people in one group [can be family, friends or trainers etc].
• Swimming pool is not temperature controlled.
• Children’s play area and entertainment is not allowed.
