About The Indian High School

The Indian High School (IHS) in Dubai is one of the oldest and most prestigious Indian schools in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Established in 1961, it was founded by a group of philanthropists led by His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the then Ruler of Dubai, with the aim of providing quality education to the Indian community in Dubai.

How to Register The Indian High School

2. Fill out the admission form available on the website
3. Submit documents & report card
4. Take the eligibility test
5. Clear the eligibility test and receive offer letter
6. Pay the required fees and submit all other documents
7. Provisional admission is granted and confirmed upon KHDA registration

Documents Required

• 2 copies of the passport with a valid visa page and parents’ details page.
• 2 copies of valid Emirates ID. Emirates ID is mandatory.
• 2 copies of the Birth Certificate with attestations.
• 2 recent passport size photographs with the name and grade written in capital letters at the back of the photograph.
• Transfer certificate or school leaving certificate. The gap between the date of leaving the previous school in Dubai and the date of admission to this school, should not be more than Two weeks.
• 1 copy of the Annual Examination mark sheet from the last school attended by the student. Attestation is not required on the mark sheet.
• Admissions are based on approvals from regulatory authorities.

Reason Behind Rejection of Admission

• Filling in the registration form does not guarantee admission.
• Admissions to all will be subject to availability of seats.
• Any attempt to fill more than one form per child will result in his/her disqualification for admission.
• Any incomplete/inaccurate data or any duplication/manipulation done in the registration process will result in rejection without any consideration and any advance fee paid will not be refunded.
• All data in the registration form should be entered correctly.
• Candidates on a visit visa are not eligible for admission unless they have applied for permanent residency.
• It is mandatory to have a valid Emirates ID at the time of admission.
• Admission will not be granted to candidates coming from unrecognized schools.
• It is mandatory to submit the child’s Vaccination Card and Medical History.
