St. Mary’s Mangalorean Community Dubai (SMMC Dubai): Preserving Faith, Culture & Community in the UAE

Established in 2013, was formed to support the spiritual and cultural needs of the Mangalorean Konkani Catholic community within St. Mary’s Parish, Dubai. The organization was founded under the guidance of former Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Tomasito Veneracion and Spiritual Director Rev. Fr. Fransquinho Gomes.

Serving as a vibrant platform for Mangalorean Catholics from the dioceses of Mangalore and Udupi, SMMC Dubai regularly hosts Konkani Masses, prayer gatherings, family events, youth programs, charitable activities, and cultural celebrations throughout the year.

The community is dedicated to fostering unity among families while preserving Konkani heritage, traditions, values, and language for future generations living in the UAE.
