Waterfront Promenade

There are plenty of restaurants with large outdoor seating areas along the Waterfront Promenade that render spectacular views of the Dubai fountain and the magnificent Burj Khalifa. In addition to the fountain show, there is a spectacular light show on the Burj Khalifa once every hour. The best views are from the the Turkish restaurant Günaydın, Lebanese restaurant Abd El Wahab, the Italian seafood restaurant Bice Mare and the Lebanese seafood restaurant Sammach. These restaurants are very popular in the evenings and therefore it is recommended to reserve a table in advance.

Getting there

By Metro

Board the Dubai Metro and alight at the Burj Khalifa/ Dubai Mall station. Board the Feeder Bus to reach Souk Al Bahar. You can also alight at Financial Centre station and catch a bus to Dubai Mall. Finally, walk across the bridge over Burj Lake from The Dubai Mall to reach Souk Al Bahar.

By Bus

The RTA operates a direct bus service (#27) between Deira Gold Souq and The Dubai Mall. The buses operate every 15-minute intervals

By Taxi

Souk Al Bahar is accessible from Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road.Shoppers travelling by car should leave Sheikh Zayed Road at Interchange 1 and take Financial Centre Road, following the signs for the Palace Hotel. Car parking is next to the hotel entrance. You can also park at the Dubai Mall.
