Visited the Barsha mall Tasheel (which includes the Ejari typing center) to get my Ejari renewal done. Got the token at 3:30pm and the token number came at 6pm, after waiting for 2.5hours. There is only one counter (Counter 5) that processed Ejari and there were 14 customers waiting before me. I don’t know about other Ejari typing centers, but this one is a total waste of time in terms of waiting.
One perk is that they serve you arabic coffee, biscuits, dates and water every 30min :)
The Emirati lady at the Al Barsha Mall reception desk turned me away three times while also misinforming me, and numerous staff members at the call centre similarly misinformed me. I was told that as a Saudi national, I cannot apply for Ejari without an Emirates ID, which is incorrect. I thought I’d share this in the hopes that the team will update their information so as not to waste people’s time. I was only able to settle this issue in Al Manara Center, where the employees appeared to be more up to date.
