Dubai Police Air Wing has flown 304 missions in the first half of 2024 (H1) and successfully completed key operations such as emergency medical care, search and rescue operations, and security operations.
The Air Wing’s operations also encompassed medical evacuations, disaster response missions, and participation in complex training drills. Additionally, they were instrumental in supporting law enforcement and security initiatives, significantly contributing to maintaining public safety throughout Dubai.

Out of the total missions,
- 140 were dedicated to patrolling,
- 64 were focused on police operations, and
- 66 were allocated to training exercises.
Furthermore, 24 missions were carried out for the transport of injured individuals, 5 were assigned to search and rescue operations, and an additional 5 were for patient transport.
Brigadier Ali Almheri, Director of the Dubai Police Air Wing Centre and flight instructor, underscored the unit’s dedication to fulfilling Dubai Police’s objectives of quick response and efficient incident management, with a special focus on traffic-related cases that require the urgent transport of critically injured individuals to hospitals. He also pointed out that the Air Wing is actively involved in various humanitarian missions, including the transfer of patients from clinics to hospitals for necessary medical care.
