What is HAAD?

It is a legal requirement in the UAE to get a government-issued license before engaging in professional practice. The Health Authority of Abu Dhabi must issue this license to healthcare practitioners who seek to work in Abu Dhabi (HAAD). Those who are looking for certification in their field, they will be asked to take the HAAD exam. As part of the certification process, health care professionals are required to take a HAAD test.

Eligibility for HAAD/ Who can apply for Haad exam, Requirements

Decontamination services are provided by the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD).

  • Dental technician – assistance in the practice of dentistry.

Nurses HAAD Requirements

  • After two years of non-practice, a term of supervision is required; if you haven’t practiced for five years, you cannot apply.
  • At the very least, you’ll need a year of relevant experience for jobs in the medical field.
  • An affiliation with a relevant professional organization, such as the Royal College of Nursing or the PRC.
  • In all cases, a bachelor’s degree or a nursing diploma is required.
  • The ADON post necessitates a master’s degree.
  • A BLS (Basic Life support) certification is required for all positions in the nursing field.

Doctors HAAD Requirements

Pharmacist HAAD Requirements

 Procedure to apply for the HAAD exam? How to apply for a HAAD license?

Upon completion of the exam, Candidate exam results can be accessed using the HAAD login credentials provided to them. The HAAD exam has only two outcomes: pass or fail. Regardless matter whether a candidate passes or fails the exam, there will be no exam scores or exam certificates. Your exam results will also be transmitted to the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH) automatically.

Validity of exam

According to the Health Professional Qualification Requirements, an exam result is valid for a maximum of five years. Renewals for medical licenses are required within three months of expiration.
