What is the history of the UAE Emblem?
It was designated as the official national symbol of the United Arab Emirates in 1973. It resembles other Arab states’ coats of arms and crests.
It has a golden falcon on it. An Arab sailboat can be seen inside the red disc that was attached to the falcon. There is a chain encircling the disc. A red parchment with the name of the federation written in Kufic script is in the falcon’s talons.
On March 22, 2008, the logo underwent a change. The Arab sailboat was removed and replaced with the UAE flag and seven stars, which stand for the seven member states of the federation.

4. Black
- The last color in the horizontal stripe is black. It symbolises mental fortitude. It matches the crimson color of the flag and stands for the defeat of adversaries.
