Dubai has announced that imams of mosques, preachers, and muezzins who have served for 20 years will be granted golden visas as well as monetary prizes in recognition of their contributions.
The decision is in accordance with the orders of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, has directed competent authorities to grant golden visas to imams, preachers, and muezzins who have completed 20 years of service in recognition of their role in explaining the true teachings of Islam and spreading tolerance values, particularly during Ramadan.
Sheikh Hamdan praised all Imams, preachers, and muezzins, emphasizing how much their vital role is valued and revered. He asked them to continue their efforts to educate the UAE community about Islam’s authentic teachings and to disseminate its beautiful principles.
