Dubai Municipality announced that four of its busiest and most popular public beaches will reserved exclusively for families during the upcoming long weekend during the 53rd Eid Al Etihad holiday.
Ibrahim Mohammad Juma, Director of Public Beaches and Waterways Department at Dubai Municipality said that “Public Beaches in Dubai are dedicated to Dubai families during the Union Day holidays and festivals. It also provide families with the opportunity to enjoy Dubai’s beaches during the holiday — one of the best tourist destinations in the emirate.”

When does the beaches reserved?
- Between UAE Commemoration Day, Saturday November 30, and the final day of the UAE National Day long weekend on Tuesday December 3.
Limiting the numbers of people allowed on the public beach means that there should be less overcrowding and a safer environment for the little ones to run around at.
While these iconic Dubai beaches reserved for family days out, there are still plenty of brilliant beach clubs for the rest of us to enjoy during the long weekend.
The Dubai Municipality has deployed an “integrated safety and rescue team” comprising 135 personnel. Additionally, a 60-member field supervisory team had assigned to oversee beach operations throughout the holiday period. In collaboration with its partners, the civic body will closely monitor all beach operations.
