Festival Plaza in Jebel Ali, Dubai opened on 18th December 2019.

The new Festival Plaza mall opened its doors to customers as announced, near Ibn Batutta mall. The mall has extensive parking spaces available with 2 levels of parking. On opening day, there were traffic jams on the approach roads since one of the roads leading away from the mall towards Ibn Batutta is a single lane road, but there are indications that this road will be widened soon.

As for the mall, many shops have opened up including ACE Hardware, Cinnabon etc. And there are loads of photo and selfie opportunities and entertainment rooms placed throughout the mall, which is intriguing. The food court is large, but most of the shops are not yet open for business. Only Baskin Robbins was open in the food court, but there are more food options thanks to IKEA’s food shops.

Lulu hypermarket is not yet open.
