What is a Criminal record certificate / Police Clearance Certificate?

It is an official document requested from Dubai Police / Government if a person want to do job in other country / verify criminal convicts / any case against that person. Criminal record certificate is also known as Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) / Certificate of Good Conduct. In Dubai, this service is issued from Criminal Investigations Department (CID)

Follow these steps to request PCC

1. Apply through https://www.dubaipolice.gov.ae/
2. Select Citizen (OR) Resident inside/ outside (OR) Visitor
3. Enter the Emirates ID, Email
4. Select the purpose of certificate
5. Click Next
6. Pay the required fees
7. Click Submit. You will receive the notification in email.

How to apply police clearance certificate in Dubai for the visitor / those who do not have Emirates ID?

Those who are not having Emirates ID needs to visit the police station in person, provide their finger prints

1. Apply through https://www.dubaipolice.gov.ae/
2. If your purpose of getting clearance certificate is for outside the UAE, select Purpose of Use column as “Outside”
3. Select Resident outside (OR) Visitor
4. Enter the name, nationality, mobile number
5. Select the purpose of certificate
6. Upload your personal photo, passport copy, previous residence photocopy

How to get PCC if a person is outside Dubai?

They are required to attach fingerprints card after being certified by the UAE Embassy
