Ramadan 2026 in Dubai: Ayal Al-Freej Expands to 300+ Mosques for Young Worshippers Collect Passport Stamps During Ramadan

In a pioneering step reflecting its commitment to strengthening Islamic values among younger generations, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) in Dubai has launched its largest community Ramadan initiative titled “Ayal Al-Freej.”

The initiative aims to encourage children to attend prayers regularly and deepen their connection with mosques during the holy month of Ramadan. It comes in response to the growing need for innovative and accessible ways to engage youth, while reinforcing the mosque’s role as a spiritual, educational, and community hub within residential neighborhoods.

Encouraging Prayer Through Motivation and Rewards

Running throughout Ramadan, the initiative includes a range of motivational activities for children attending Taraweeh prayers at 180 approved mosques across Dubai.

Participating children will receive special “passports” from the launch date to track their commitment to daily prayers. After each Taraweeh prayer, the passport will be stamped, encouraging consistency and dedication. Children who demonstrate commitment will receive valuable rewards and incentives in recognition of their efforts.
