ECO1 farm: One of the world’s biggest vertical farms in Dubai opened in July 2022.
A joint venture between Crop One Holdings (a Massachusetts-based vertical farming company) and Emirates Flight Catering (the catering business that serves Emirates Airlines).

Capacity: The hydroponic facility grows more than 1 million plants, which provides an output of 3,000kg per day, at any given point.

Camelicious Farm: A working camel farm with around 6000 camels.
Over 35 years ago, the idea of a camel-milking facility was born at the Central Veterinary Research Laboratory (CVRL) in Dubai. The ultimate goal was to introduce camel milk to the markets and by doing so, to make it accessible to a large number of consumers.

This Dubai dairy farm is the largest producer of dairy in UAE achieving annual milk yields of 11,500 liters through a system based on solely imported feed and 24/7 milking.
