‘Fathers’ Endowment’ – A new Ramadan charity campaign honoring fathers
- UAE Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced a new charity initiative called the ‘Fathers’ Endowment’.
- The initiative is focused on raising Dh1 billion worth of sustainable charity funds.
- It will be used to improve services like health care, treatment, hospitals etc.

- The campaign is linked to the ‘Year of Community’ programme
- The ‘Mother’s Endowment’ campaign was launched last year.
- Under the leadership of MBRGI, the campaign will work for the poor and community development.
- MBRGI has earlier successfully undertaken ’10 Million Meals’ (2020), ‘100 Million Meals’ (2021) and ‘1 Billion Food Endowment’ (2023).
- These help create an indelible social impact.
- ‘Fathers’ Endowment’ is set up with the objective of strengthening family bonds.
- This initiative is created to help the poor and serve the society.
- This is a project to further strengthen the emirate’s charitable work in the run-up to the month of Ramadan.

- Last year the Mother’s Endowment raised 1.4 billion dirhams.
