Roles & Responsibilities of Prime Minister Office Dubai

According to the Constitution of the United Arab Emirates, the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates is responsible for the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Prior to the UAE President and Supreme Council, the Prime Minister and all ministries share responsibility for carrying out the Federal Government’s overall policy both within and beyond the country.
  • It is Prime Minister’s job to ensure that all federal government agencies and ministries are working together effectively, especially when it comes to implementing the government’s overall strategy.
  • The Prime Minister is in charge of calling the Cabinet together, running its meetings, and keeping tabs on the ministers’ schedules and performance.
  • The session of the Cabinet is presided over by the Prime Minister.

1. UAE CENTENNIAL 2071

A comprehensive government plan, ‘UAE Centennial 2071,’ aims to boost the country’s prestige and soft power through a national strategy. Diversify government revenue sources to reduce reliance on oil; implement IT and engineering education programs; and continually instill Emirati values and ethics in future generations.

2. UAE Pioneer
