But people visiting Festival Plaza were disappointed that Lulu Hypermarket was not opened when the mall opened to the public. The feedback from the mall at the opening time was that Lulu hypermarket will open soon, but they didn’t have a specific timeline.
After weeks of waiting, now the Festival Plaza Mall team has confirmed that Lulu is opening in the month of January, though the exact date is going to be announced soon. We can safely say that the last possible date is 31st of Jan, but we can expect it to open sooner than that.
Lulu hypermarket is generally popular among the Indian residents, especially Keralites and South Indians who can find all their preferred supplies and food items at Lulu. Festival Plaza Lulu is also announced to have the world’s first Lulu hypermarket with seating to eat the food sold at the food counters. And more variety of food counters are expected to open in this Lulu. Residents in Jebel Ali can complete their purchases at Festival Plaza Lulu instead of driving all the way to Lulu Barsha, which is always a congested area to drive into.
