A competition for health and wellbeing has been started by the Dubai Health Authority in collaboration with STEPPI and Aster Clinics and Hospitals. After the tournament, 15 male and 15 female winners will be named. The competition’s registration deadline is August 20. The contestants must meet the requirements by the competition’s deadline of December 20 to win.
“By participating in the Health & Happiness program, you will not only prioritize your health but also contribute to the vitality of the Dubai community. Through health screening, we will help to identify areas where we can make positive changes. Through fun activity challenges, we will inspire one another to take charge of our lifestyles and emerge as healthier, happier individuals,” Dubai Health Authority said.
All the member’s community, citizens and residents of Dubai between the age group of 18 years can join the competition—no weight criteria. The winner will be announced on January 2024.

“The competition aims to promote and develop community awareness about the importance of adopting healthy patterns to prevent lifestyle diseases,” Dubai Health Authority said.

- To access the Health & Happiness tasks, click the Challenges tab.
- Visit one of the Aster Health clinics on the list after joining to finish your health screening.
The rate of change in BMI after the competition, the rate of change in cholesterol, the number of steps taken each week, and the frequency of exercise each week are all requirements for winning the health competition.

How winners will be selected in Dubai Health & Happiness competition?
- Winners will be selected from the screening results taken at the aster clinic / hospital. If there is an improvement between 1st screening (before joining) and 2nd screening (after the end of the program), winners will be selected.
- Through the STEPPI app level of physical activity achievements
- Cash prize and gift vouchers will be provided to the top 30 winners (15 male and 15 female) which is of the following:
- AED15K=5000 as voucher and 10k as cash
- Likewise upto AED 1k, it will be going
