Recently, authorities at Dubai Airport detained a traveler arriving from an Asian nation who was allegedly carrying a suitcase concealed inside that contained henna powder.
With the use of cutting-edge technologies, electronic equipment, and artificial intelligence, Dubai Customs carried out a comprehensive inspection that exposed the drugs hidden inside. The material that was seized was indeed cannabis, although it was first disguised as henna powder.
The Director of the Passenger Operations Department at Dubai Customs announced an enhanced screening procedure to stop illegal activities at the airport in response to the increased number of tourists visiting the city.
