Due to the UAE’s new weekend shift, many banks in the UAE have implemented new branch hours that may change how you contact your bank. On Fridays, banks issued Timetable for UAE which shall continue to function as usual, as stipulated by an official circular from the UAE Central Bank.
A timetable of UAE banks
Financial institutions will now open at least five hours each day, six days each week except during the month of Ramadan, according to an official circular.
Banking institutions can operate their administrative and back offices at any time of the day or night, according to a circular issued by the Federal Reserve.
1. Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank
Our banking services are currently available at 54 locations and more than 425 ATMs throughout the United Arab Emirates.
Working Hours: 8 am to 3 pm
2. Dubai Islamic bank
The bank currently has 90 branches across UAE.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday & Saturday (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM) and Friday (7:15 AM – 12:15 PM)
3. Emirates Islamic
There will be six days a week, Monday through Saturday, when our branches will be open, with Sunday being the only day they will be closed. On Fridays, from 12:30 to 14:00 p.m., all locations will be closed for prayer. Further details can check here.
4. Mashreq
The Mashreq Bank has also announced that Sunday will be its official weekly holiday. The following service times are listed on its website:
Branch working hours:
Monday to Saturday: 8 am to 3.30 pm
Friday (exception): 7.30am to 12.30pm
5. Emirates NBD
A weekly holiday on Sunday would mean that all branches would be open from Monday forward. On Saturday, certain branches may be closed as well.
There will be a two-hour closure on Fridays for Friday prayers from 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm at all branch locations.
6. First Abu Dhabi Bank
FAB offices will begin implementing a five-day workweek beginning on January 3, 2022. Monday through Saturday, all of our locations will be open. There will be no branch closings on Sundays.
7. Noor Bank
The Sheikh Zayed Road branch is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, although teller services are only available from 0800-1500 GMT on Saturdays and Thursdays (only).
8. Ajman Bank
Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00 – 19:00 and Friday 8:00 – 19:00
Friday Prayer 12:00 – 15:00, Sunday: off

9. Commercial Bank International
From Saturday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., all of our branches are open.
10. Bank of Sharjah
Working hours of 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM, Monday through Saturday, branches will be available to serve customers. Sundays are strictly a day off for all locations. Our main office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The weekends, including Saturday and Sunday, are free days.
