Dubai tops the world’s cleanest city rankings… Congratulations to the cleaners!
Dubai has been named the world’s cleanest city in the latest Global Power City Index (GPCI) report by Mori Memorial Foundation’s ‘Institute for Urban Strategies’, scoring 100% in cleanliness. This is the fifth consecutive year the honor has been received.
Marwan bin Khalid, Executive Director of Dubai Municipality, said this success was the result of concerted efforts and public-private collaboration. More than 3,200 employees with 855 state-of-the-art vehicles are involved in daily cleaning of 2,400 km of roads, 1,419 sq km area and various locations.
It reflects Dubai’s commitment to upholding standards and striving to ensure world-class living.
