Highschool student

According to the following, a high school graduate who placed first in the nation (with a minimum grade of 95% in public and private secondary schools) is given a Golden Visa for five years without a sponsor:

  • Submitting a letter of recommendation from the ministry of education (Emirates Schools Establishment).
  • The student’s Golden Visa is valid for five years and may be extended if he is enrolled in a major or college that calls for a longer study duration than five years, such as (the College of Human Medicine).
  • Requirements for awarding a Golden Visa to a high-achieving high school student’s family. In the event that they want to stay in the United Arab Emirates, the parents of the excellent student and (his siblings who are his father’s dependents) are each given a Golden Visa for the same duration.

University Students

According to the following, a university student can obtain a Golden Visa for ten years without a sponsor:
