Al Freej Fridge campaign from the 29th of July 2024 and it will go on till the 23rd of August to benefit 1 million industrial workers and workers exposed to the heat.

Each year, the UAE enforces a midday break for construction and industrial workers during the hottest hours of the summer. This initiative is crucial for the well-being of these workers, given the rising temperatures.

To further support these workers, the ‘Al Freej Fridge’ campaign aims to distribute cold water, juices, and ice cream to alleviate the summer heat’s effects. The campaign promotes values of compassion and giving within the Dubai community.

Running until August 23, the campaign is set to benefit one million cleaners, construction workers, delivery riders, and agricultural workers on Dubai’s streets and roads. It is supported by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation and Furjan Dubai, in collaboration with the UAE Water Aid Foundation and the UAE Food Bank.
