Good news for traveling through Red Line!!! Direct Routes without taking interchange/swap at Jabal Ali Station (New Y Junction)
Starting from April 15, Dubai Metro Red Line has 2 new direct routes which is going to be linked with major Station such as Centrepoint Metro with UAE Exchange and Expo 2020. There is no stopover at Jebel Ali Metro Station.
Benefits of these 2 new direct routes
With these linking system, passengers need not to interchange at Jebel ali station. Those who are traveling from Ibn Batutta Station to UAE Exchange or vice versa will get benefits from this direct route. Those who are traveling to Gardens to Expo 2020 also get benefits from this linking
Why RTA Dubai has connecting Centrepoint with UAE Exchange and Expo 2020?
Recently RTA Dubai metro handling many passengers daily. To avoid the crowd, hassles, too much waiting times, RTA has decided to link these routes to save more time for the passenger. Also due to this improvement, power consumption will be reduced in order to assist with COP28. It requires less number of trains to run this timetable and schedule.
