What is a Golden visa for UAE?

Foreign talent can live, work, or study in the UAE with the Golden visa, which offers long-term residents special perks. Those who qualify for the Golden visa include entrepreneurs, investors, scientists, outstanding students, recent graduates, front-line heroes, and humanitarian pioneers.

Benefits of Golden Visa

  • a multiple-entry entrance visa valid for six months before a residence permit is issued.

Procedure to get Work Permits of Golden Visa Holders

  • Log on to the website with your username and password.
  • Submit the application
  • The Ministry will receive an electronic referral of the application for review of the supporting documentation and requirements.
  • The issuance of work permits to holders of Golden Visas will be approved once all requirements and paperwork have been submitted.
  • If the permission application is granted, the contract will be approved online.
  • upon approval, payment of federal fees.

Documents Required

  • a copy of the current passport and a current residency permit
  • The Ministry’s formal job offer form has been signed by both the employer and the employee.
  • a clear certificate with the employee’s name on it, Levels 1 & 2 of expertise A bachelor’s degree or above is necessary. The following skill levels (3 & 4) are necessary. High School Certificate is necessary at the skill level (5). For skill levels 6 through 9, a certificate is not necessary. Workers without degrees or those making less than AED 4,000 per month are not regarded as skilled.
  • Doctors, nurses, and other professionals with licenses from the Ministry of Health’s Department of Health, teachers and teaching assistants from the Ministries of Education in Dubai’s Knowledge Authority, Abu Dhabi’s Education Council, Sharjah’s Education Council, and fitness trainers from the Youth and Sports Authority are a few examples (Ministry of Justice).

What is the cost?

  • The maximum commission for business centers is 72 dirhams.
  • 50 dirhams worth of federal fees
  • The service can be accessed through the MOHRE website and mobile app for free, excluding federal fees.
