Why are the Petrol Prices Rising?

The rise in petrol costs has been attributed by the international crude oil prices. This year, oil prices have surged by about 33% and after the United States announced that it will not renew exemptions allowing China and few other buyers to keep importing Iranian crude. However, petrol prices took a hit on Friday when US President Donald Trump said he had spoken to Opec nations, including Saudi Arabia, about keeping prices down.
