Job description / Role

• Preparation of construction methodology (execution strategy/ execution method linked to project objectives).
• Resource allocation and management (productivity planning and control/ work force and equipment allocation and control).
• Planning (preparation and management of project program/ schedules/ issuance of progress control tools).
• Budget and Cost control (preparation of project budget, cost management & issuance of cost report).
• Technical expertise (design review/ value engineering/ technical review and management of project requirements).
• Contract management (review and management of contracts conditions, contractual correspondence, claims, disputes, risk assessment).
• Procurement (implementation and management of project procurement system).
• Preparation of construction claims/ negotiating the same with clients.
• Preparation and management of Clients invoices.
• Administration of vendors/ suppliers and subcontractors invoices and claims.
• Preparation of commercial assessment/ feasibility studies/ estimations/ work valuation/ financial assessment.
• Administering accounts settlements and closures/ for clients and vendors/ suppliers/ subcontractors.
• Managing project progress/ coordination with client, consultant, vendors, third parties/ administration of project staff and allocated responsibilities.
• Very good computer and English communication skills (including very good English writing skills).
• Ability to work in remote locations (within U.A.E/ Qatar/ KSA).

Requirements

• University degree/ in civil engineering or Architecture
• Preferably additional degree/ certificate in construction management/ quantity surveying/ contracts management/ dispute resolution.
• Minimum experience 15 years out of which to have worked as Project Manager for a minimum 7 years with reputable construction companies in UAE
• Expertise in contractual/ claims/ planning/ commercial/ cost control/ productivity management/ budgeting.
• VERY good English communication skills and computer operation skills.
